VINTAGE WOOD BOX FROM CLEVELAND HEIGHTS GOLF & C.C. W/6 HAV-A-TAMPA GOLF BALLS

Vintage wood box, the inside label has very nice graphics from CLEVELAND HEIGHTS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB Lakeland, Fl with crossed golf clubs.  Manufactured by Havatampa Cigar Co.  Tampa, Fl  Lakeland is just east of Tampa and Cleveland Heights Golf and Country Club was started in 1925 and lists Wm. Flynn as the course designer for the original 18 holes  The bottom of the box is cracked all the way across and has tape on the bottom. The latch works, but, not very well.  There are several scratches and gouges on the lid and sides, I believe someone has re-varnished the box The 6 golf balls have never been used and all have been stamped   CADWELL GEER COVER    The sleeve of 3 "70"  balls have everything printed in red.  The other sleeve of 3 has some of the original cellophane, these 3 golf balls have the name in black and the cadwell-geer cover in red.  This will make a great display item with the box opened up showing the inside flap and the 2 sleeves of golf balls.  I would date these as very late 1930's to early to mid 1940's  Guaranteed as described, refunds less all shipping.  This will be sent via USPS Priority Mail Ins. with extra bubble wrap in a box.   Please email any questions. Sorry, no combined shipping.  No shipments outside of the U.S.
