    Description

    This 2-part used iron factory mold has 440 dimples.  Each side is marked "440" with other factory markings. Has small and large dimple configuration.
    Each side is about 1"H. It was purchased at auction in the late 90's when the Ben Hogan golf ball factory closed in Elyria, OH.
    Hogan purchased the Worthington golf ball factory in Elyria where golf balls had been made from the early 1900's and was was manufacturer of golf balls that were shipped worldwide.
    Golf balls are no longer made in these type of molds.
